It must be noted that the task of fee reimbursement is done by the Social welfare Department for the economically weaker meritorious students. A provision says that dates are fixed to transfer fees in the student’s account. It’s fixed that October 2 and January 26 of every year. Both auspicious occasions of Gandhi Jayanti and Republic Day respectively.

The Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System will be available online for the students to apply for the scholarship.

However, the financial year of 2020-21 was uncertain and unusual in all sense. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, orders were issued that the budget allocated for fee reimbursement will not be utilized without the further notice of the Finance Department. This resulted in confusion overpayment of fee reimbursement in the unfortunate year of 2020-21.

A budget of Rs 52,500 was allocated for the fee reimbursement of the general class students in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Further, Rs 98, 012 is kept aside for the students belonging to Scheduled castes and Scheduled tribes for their fee reimbursement. But the consent of the finance department was to be taken before any payment was done to the students in the financial year of 2020-21.
