Uttar Pradesh Colleges, universities, state colleges, and other educational institutions to reopen for 15th February 2021. Hence, all the higher learning institutions will reopen adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines and protocols. This decision was made on Friday, 12th February 2021.
Measures adopted by Uttar Pradesh Colleges for reopening:
As per the communication letter exchanged between the officials of higher education, several safety measures will be levied. The letter was sent by the Special Secretary of the Higher Education Department to the Vice-Chancellors and Directors of several Uttar Pradesh Colleges. Hence, it is mandatory for all the teachers as well as students to wear their face masks. Also, social distancing norms will be followed. Hence, the sitting distance between the students will be six feet.
The UP Colleges and other educational institutions will ensure proper sanitization and thermal scanning. The Higher Education Department has also ordered complete sanitization of education campuses before reopening.
However, if any student, teacher, or staff having symptoms will be sent back home giving first aid. Hence, anyone with a cold, cough, and fever will be sent back. Also, any symptomatic student or staff will get immediate testing done. Hence, the results will be recorded. The Uttar Pradesh colleges and authorities have also been asked to maintain covid-19 prevention measures while conducting classes.
The previous reopening of Uttar Pradesh Colleges:
The Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has decided that higher education institutions across the state will function normally from 15th February. Hence, all students need to be present. However, the UP colleges were reopened on 23rd November 2020 with certain restrictions. Now, all the universities will start to function from next week.
