Why this effort?

This project started because a study in 2022 found that places without enough green plants and trees have more dust and pollution. So, the government gave the job to the Public Works Department (PWD) to find and improve these places by planting more trees. The goal is to reduce pollution, and now the PWD is taking care of greenery along about 1400 kilometers of roads.

Conclusion

In short, the PWD is fixing up 10 colleges in North Campus because a study showed that areas with less greenery have more pollution. They are working on roads and lanes, making them better and planting more trees to fight pollution which will form part of cleanliness drive around colleges to be conducted by PWD.
