Under the academic session of the year 2023-24 at DU, the admission process for foreign students in all Course, Certificate, and Certificate Diploma will initiate next week. Foreign students have to refer to online only. Soon procedures will also be allocated for the admission of these students.

The admission of Indian students to DU will be based on their scores in the CUET. Accordingly, foreign students do not have to appear for the CUET. Admission of these students will be based on merit only. Due to various courses, applications will be taken till April-May as well as July. DU admission process for foreign students will initiate next week.

In DU, Joint Dean (Foreign Students Registry) Prof. Amarjeev Lochan. He told that by March 5 or 6, they are preparing to begin the online application procedure for foreign students. Admission for foreign students will be based on merit as last year.

The admission schedule and procedures will be published soon. The students of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) will get preference in admission. He told that even after the Corona epidemic, the trend of foreign students studying at DU did not decrease.

DU CAN LAUNCH 18 NEW COURSES THIS SESSION

The number of people taking admission here has been boosted in the last three years. DU is also remembered abroad for its academic environment as well as its courses. That’s why the quantity of foreign students is boosting every year. In the academic session 2020-21, more than 550 foreign students enlisted in different courses at DU.

STUDENTS CONSIDERED WORKING FOR NGOS OVER MNCS?

During the Covid epidemic, students from neighboring nations Nepal and Afghanistan enrolled here. Now the focus of DU is to raise the number of students arriving from its neighboring countries. We will also reach embassies of different countries in India to attract students from all countries to DU. DU has a five percent reservation for foreign students for admission to departments and colleges as well as ten percent at the Ph.D. level.

DU ASSESSES COLLEGES TO CHOOSE A GREEN AND CLEAN CAMPUS

Although students from every nation are admitted to DU, more students from some countries reach here to study. This comprises countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Canada, Germany, Spain, Britain, Tibet, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Russia, Korea, Nigeria, Sudan, Iraq, and Ethiopia. In the past few years, students from countries like Mexico, the Netherlands, and Laos are also taking admissions here.
