Delhi University forms a committee to formulate the syllabi of six undergraduate courses of NEP. These courses will introduce in next year under National Educational Policy(NEP) 2020. Delhi University`s executive council and academic council approved the implementation of NEP. But, the new education policy will be put in place from the next academic year.
The approval still faces dissent from the members of the academic, and executive council. Earlier, there has been a protest against the implementation of NEP by different stakeholders. Next the faculty and departments also showed their dissent. After that Vice-chancellor assured that University had talked to all the statutory bodies. Finally the NEP 2020 was approved by the University.

Delhi University had framed a NEP Interdisciplinary Courses Committee. The committee includes seven members. Recently, a notice was also released on the same. The committee will frame the syllabi as per new interdisciplinary courses. Which are part of the structures of the undergraduate programs.
The committee can also form up an interdisciplinary sub-committee. Moreover, working groups for assisting the committee in framing the syllabi. The interdisciplinary sub-committee can include teachers of the departments, centers, and colleges.

So, the courses are ethics and culture, social and emotional learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Moreover, co-curricular, science and society and IT skills, data analysis, and mathematics.

The chairperson of the committee is Professor Vivek Suneja, Faculty of Management Studies. As a member, it includes Professor HP Singh, Department of Physics. Professor Shobha Bagai, CIC along with Anju Srivastava, Principal, Hindu College. Dr. Suman Sharma, Principal, Lady Shri Ram. Dr. SP Aggarwal, Principal, Ramanujan College. Dr. Asani Bhaduri, Assistant Professor, CIC will be the member-secretary.
