Delhi University admission 2021 is in operation now. University is most likely to release cutoffs for undergraduate admission on 1st October. Here we will look into the previous years B.A(Hons.) Economics cutoffs trends.
Most Delhi University colleges offer economics at the undergraduate level. It is one of the most preferred and prestigious courses among students. There are high employability chances from the course. Moreover, students also get a large number of fields to make their career.
However, taking admission in Delhi University and that too in B.A(Hons.) Economics has always been through high cutoffs. Students should have scored equal to or above the cutoff. Moreover, University will only ask for the best of four subjects. As per mentioned subjects in lists A and B in the information bulletin, students must have studied mathematics in 12th for being eligible for Delhi University admission.

PREVIOUS YEAR CUTOFFS TRENDS
Delhi University B.A(Hons.) Economics is one of the top courses offered by DU. Form the last three-four years, cutoffs have constantly increased.
Last year Lady Shri Ram’s college opening cutoff for economics was 100%. Moreover, some of the other top colleges have also marked their cutoff above 98% for general category students. However, last year the minimum cutoff for the general category was 94% at Aurobindo college.
This year again B.A(Hons.) Economics cutoff is likely to open with 100% for the top colleges. Due to the high number of students securing 95% and above in the 12th board exams.
DELHI UNIVERSITY CUTOFFS AND DATE
This year St. Stephens released its cutoffs. In which B.A(Hons.) Economics cutoff for the general category was 99.5%.
However, the schedule for the cutoffs is yet to release for this year. It is likely to release in next week. Some of the officials earlier stated that the first merit list will be out on 1st October.
