How They Were Picked

To choose the girls, there was a competition. They had to write about “The Role of Women in Making Viksit Bharat.” Out of 5,000 entries, these ten girls were picked. They will have full power during their time as president.

The girls will get a special gift and a certificate to thank them for their job as DUSU president for one day.

Inspiring Future Leaders

This initiative inspires other girls to dream big and take on leadership roles. It shows that girls can do anything they set their minds to, just like boys. By seeing girls in powerful positions, it encourages more girls to believe in themselves and reach for their goals.

Changing the Narrative

In the past, leadership roles like this were often reserved for boys. But now, with girls stepping into these roles, it’s changing the story. It’s showing that girls are just as capable and deserving of leadership positions. This shift in perspective is essential for building a fair and inclusive society.

Celebrating Diversity

By having girls from different colleges and backgrounds serve as DUSU president, it celebrates diversity. It shows that no matter where you come from or what your background is, you can still make a difference. This diversity strengthens the fabric of the university community and fosters understanding and acceptance among students.

Looking Towards the Future

As these girls lead DUSU for a day, it opens up possibilities for the future. Who knows, maybe one of these girls will go on to become a leader in politics, education, or any other field. This experience gives them the confidence and skills to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on society.

Empowering Through Education

This initiative not only empowers girls but also highlights the importance of education in promoting equality. Education gives girls the knowledge and confidence to challenge stereotypes and break barriers. By encouraging girls to take on leadership roles, Delhi University is fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusion. This sends a powerful message that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and creating a more just and equitable society.

Building a Supportive Community

By recognizing the contributions of these girls through 10 day 10 DUSU President campaign, Delhi University is building a supportive community that values diversity and promotes gender equality. This sends a strong message that everyone deserves respect and equal opportunities, regardless of their gender. It encourages students to support and uplift one another, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all. This sense of community empowers students to strive for excellence and make a difference in the world around them.
