Jawaharlal Nehru University Semester Registration process is kept on hold till May 16, 2021, due to the prevailing COVID situation in the country. JNU has also said that the university has not given rise to the semester registration fee. The official declaration was made on May 9, 2021.

This is to clarify that Jawaharlal Nehru University has not given rise to the semester registration fees for aspirants, the official notice on JNU Semester Registration notifies. The student’s registration procedure has been stopped till 16.05.2021, because of the covid pandemic situation.

It further said that the students are instructed to visit and refer to the JNU official website for further information regarding the registration. Students are notified not to provide any credence to fake information circulating in social media and may immediately enquire from the Evaluation Branch for clarifications if required.

The official notice from the Jawaharlal Nehru University obtained after some fake information was being published on social media. The misleading news said that the JNU Semester Registration fee is being increased, to which JNU clarified with the help of the above-mentioned official notice. This is not the first time for JNU to stop the Semester Registration. JNU has done before once on April 28 and then on May 8, 2021. Students are notified to keep a check on the official website link shared above for further updates on JNU Registration.
