The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result on its official website. Now, the second phase of the DU UG admission process will start tomorrow, 17 July 2023.
Recently, Haneet Gandhi, Dean of Admissions said that the new batch will start from 16 August. From this academic session, the university is trying to make the academic calendar the same for all semesters.
Moreover, he added, “Delhi University will consider normalised scores for taking admissions. And, if students have the same program and college preferences and have the same scores, then tie-breaker formula i.e., considering board results will be used.”

DU UG Admission Process: Apply on CSAS Portal
As per the university, the second phase of DU admission means that candidates have to apply on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal. They have to fill in their college and course preferences. Then the university will allocate students based on preferences, category, program-specific merit and lastly on seat availability.
Further, candidates can choose to upgrade to a higher preference on their list in the coming rounds. The DU UG admission process will be completed in various rounds.
Besides, varsity offers around 71,000 seats in undergraduate programs. And, the university has received 228,398 registrations and 167,940 submitted applications. So, the admissions will be done based on the preference-filling phase which will commence tomorrow.
