The live portal for Admission To Delhi University will go live today at 5:00 PM. The whole admission process, i.e. admission 2020, will be carried out online this year. Maintaining social distancing will not be possible if the normal admission process was followed hence the University has decided to go with the online admission process this year.

Aspiring students seeking admission in the Delhi University are advised to visit the official website of the university for all the information and to check the further details to submit their online registration forms.

Apart from the thing that this year the admission process will be contactless and entirely online, all other conditions and criteria for the admissions are more or less the same.

Delhi University allows admissions on two basis:

Entrance exam based
Merit-list based

Entrance exams for the Delhi University are conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). NTA will soon release the required information regarding the NTA DU entrance exam for 2020 on their its official website – nta.ac.in and also on the official website of Delhi University-du.ac.in
And for the admission concerned with the merit-based criteria, the varsity will release five qualification cut-offs this year.
It is notable that the registration for both entrance exam based and merit-based admissions will be done through the same portal.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR DU ADMISSIONS 2020? | UG COURSES

There are many students whose class 12 certificates are pending. Those students can submit their class 10 certificates instead, for the time being. Later the certificate can be updated when the result is announced and when the portal is reopened in July.
As per the information available till now, admissions under the sports quota will be done through the verification of certificates possessed by the candidates. There will be no interviews, no group discussions, and no trials this year.

Students who were anticipating admission under the ECA quota have expressed their disappointment as there will be no admissions under the ECA category this year.
