It is important to maintain social distancing and that is why Delhi University has decided to conduct the admission procedure online. Everything from registration to admission will be done through online mode. The admission portal is open for DU aspirants to fill up the registration form till July 4.

ECA CATEGORY IS NOT ALLOWED IS YEAR
Delhi University is granting admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and Ph.D. programs for the academic session 2020-21. As many students are facing difficulties while filling up the examination form, DU conducted an open day session for all DU aspirants to deal with their queries about the admission process. This year due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are many changes made by the Delhi University administration regarding the admission of new students. Earlier, students were also allowed to seek admission through their Extracurricular activities. There were certain restrictions and some criteria to grant them admission. Students were allowed to submit their certificates in that particular field and were called out for a trial. On the basis of their trial, they were granted college under ECA category. But this year, due to the COVID-19 crises, Delhi University has excluded the option of extracurricular and sports activities. Students would not be granted admission on the basis of their extracurricular activities.
