ACADEMIC COLLABORATION

DU has started its admission process on 20 June 2020. Students who want to take admission have to visit the official website of the Delhi University, du.ac.in to fill the admission form. Due to the outbreak of a pandemic, Delhi University has decided this year to make the entire process right from registration to verification of documents online.

According to a report, the admission procedure will be likely to be stretched out for a couple of more days to expand enrolment numbers and permit the possibility to take care of their enlistment expenses and complete the enlistment procedure. As of now, the last date to fill the DU admission form is July 4.

As of now, 4,04,315 students have enrolled themselves at Delhi University. Approximately 2.8 lakh students have applied for undergraduate courses so far. Moreover, among 2.8 lakh only 1.59 lakh candidates have confirmed their admission status by paying the application fee.

DU ADMISSION 2020: STUDENTS CAN EDIT THEIR FORM AFTER JULY 4

Once the registration process is over, the aspirants (merit-based) will have to check the cut-offs to know whether they are eligible to take admission in colleges of their choice or not. Moreover, dates for entrance tests will be announced soon by Delhi University, separately by the colleges. The cut-offs will be announced on the centralized admission portal admission.du.ac. Although the authorities have provisioned for five cut-offs in total, the number of cut-offs can be increased depending on the availability of vacant seats.

Delhi University is choosing to permit the students to alter their admission forms. If any student has filled the wrong details, at that point they may address or alter their form simply after 4 July.

A member of the admission branch additionally clarified that a couple of students, in the wake of completing their admission form, recognize that they have submitted the wrong details. Such applicants by then fill the form twice or thrice. This causes issues as they get different enrollment forms from the same student. It would be better if there is an alter choice.
