Delhi University reopening in a phased manner from 15 September 2021. Moreover, according to the official notice colleges will reopen with both offline and online teaching modes.

After so many conferences, ultimately, DU has decided to reopen the colleges. However, due to the covid-19 situation, the blend of offline, online learning modes should be maintained. 

Delhi University instructed, “The teaching and non-teaching staff of University must receive both covid-19 vaccine doses.” Furthermore, students are also advised to take at least one dose of vaccine. Whereas, hostel residents must receive both vaccine doses of covid-19.

From 6 September 2021, libraries may reopen. However, according to DDMA guidelines, libraries may not make the sitting arrangements. But libraries will begin issuing books regularly. Moreover, to prevent overcrowding, the college or departments are advised to give time slots appointments to the students before letting them in.

DELHI UNIVERSITY REOPENING: BEGIN OFFLINE CLASSES FROM 15 SEPTEMBER 

For third-year UG/PG students, laboratory and practical classes will begin on 15 September 2021. Although, the capacity of classrooms and laboratories should not be more than 50%. “This semester only a few selective experiments or practicals will be done, ” Delhi University instructed.

However, theory classes for all undergraduate and postgraduate students will be online mode. Also, the physical presence of students is optional even in offline classes. 

Further, for placements sessions also the students may be instructed to join. But here also, the 50% capacity should not exceed.
