The schools protect Rs 20,000-30,000 in energy costs per month. While earning something by dispatching the extra power induced to the grid. Also, higher education institutions have gone the solar path. One college has also been developing biogas for use on campus.

For the past few months, we have been bringing zero power bills. The solar power we develop electricity shutdowns so smaller.

The format is simple. The Delhi Government Schools pay fixed costs for solar metering. The excess energy induced is sold by developers at a fixed price. The power allotment companies pay the schools for each unit of solar power transferred into the grid.
