The University of Delhi is awaiting instructions from the Council of India for admission to 15 percent seats of LLB’s EWS. Students enrolled in LLB in DU have been repeatedly asking why 15 percent of law seats were not admitted this year. Not only LLB but also the LLM is not getting admission in the increased seats.
In this regard, the Dean of LLB has issued a notification saying that only 15 percent of the EWS law seats will be admitted after the Council of the directive.
Another student says that the Law Department only needs the permission or direction of the Bar Council of India in LLB for admission to 15 percent seats.
The department can enroll itself for admission to LLM, but DU has not admitted to 15% increased seats in LLM as well.

It may be noted that after increasing the number of seats in DU to 10 percent of the EWS quota last year, there were about 3200 seats. So far this year, so many seats will be admitted.
