Tomorrow (March 9) is 2021 is the last day of application for the UGC NET exam. Approximately a week ago, the National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the last date from 2 March to 9 March. This judgment was seized after requests from aspirants. The application fee can be placed by 10 March. Modification in the application form can be done from March 12 to March 16. The UGC NET exam will be performed on 2 to 17(except 16) May 2021.

For Junior Professor Fellowship and Assistant Professor, the National Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year, usually in June and December, in universities and other higher education organizations across the country.

The general category’s application fee is Rs 1000. Whereas for EWS, OBC, and NCL it is Rs 500, and for SC, ST, Divyang, and Third Gender the fee is Rs 250. There will be an aggregate of 300 marks.

Age limit has been increased for JRF aspirants: UGC has improved the maximum age limit of 31 years for aspirants applying for the UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to be conducted in May. As this exam was not be conducted in December last year. So, the age limit has been intensified so that the candidates whose age limit has expired, can enlist it.

This change will benefit many aspirants of Bihar. The maximum age limit for the May session examination has been improved from 30 years to 31 years. The UGC granted a notice stating that exemption of up to five years has been given to the aspirants and women applicants of OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD, Third Gender.

Here, the LLM degree aspirants will be given a relaxation of three years in the age limit. There is no ultimate age limit for the post of Assistant Professor.
