Yesterday on Sunday Eve around 8:45, Former prime minister Manmohan Singh, 87, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after a complaint of chest pain. As per a hospital source, he is kept under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward.

He is reported stable and is being looked after by a team of doctors.

“All his parameters are fine. He is under observation at the AIIMS.” as per a close source. This source also informed about his feeling of uneasiness before being admitted.

Reportedly, he has undergone two bypass surgeries and in 2009, he underwent a coronary bypass surgery at AIIMS before and despite all this he has maintained an active life. He even addressed a press conference with the congress leader recently.

As this news spread out, many leaders expressed their concern over his health and wishes for a quick recovery.
RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel and Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot are among many leaders who tweeted their concern and wishes.
The two-term former prime minister is currently a senior leader of Congress and representative of Rajasthan in the Upper House of parliament. He served as a prime minister from 2004 to 2014.
