Renowned Shri Ram College Of Commerce is likely to introduce a new two year Masters of Business Administration postgraduate degree program from this year. This is currently on hold because of the pending approval by the university. This MBA program by SRCC is expected to have same course structure as of the IIMs.
The college will fund itself for this course and will have about 65 seats. SRCC’s existing program GBO diploma will be replaced by this new MBA program.
It is being said that the new program is coming as the up-gradation of the previous GBO diploma but the course structure is expected to be different from the previous and be the same as IIMs.
“We are looking forward to replacing the existing two year diploma course with a degree programme. Students will then have the advantage of getting a post graduate degree rather than a diploma, ” said a member of college administration.
