Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has invited applications from classes 11th and 12th for a nationwide school level economics Olympian I.e., National Economics Olympiad (NEO 2020). All the participants will be given participatory certificates. Furthermore, the top three candidates from each 11th and 12th class will be rewarded with a cash scholarship of Rs. 40,000. The economics olympiad is being organized by Vedantu and SRCC.

NEO 2020 to Commence on 1st & 8th November
Interested students can apply online at ecosocsrcc.com/NEO latest by October 30. National Economics Olympiad will comprise of two rounds, both of which will be commenced online on 1st November and 8th November. Candidates will be required to pay Rs. 209/- as a registration fee. However, to motivate and encourage participation at a large scale, an early bird offer has been proposed. Students can grab the early bird offer in which they can register for NEO 2020 for only Rs. 189/-.
The primary round will comprise of four sections I.e., logical reasoning, data interpretation, case studies, and economic concepts. The olympiad will comprise 10 questions from each section. Every correct answer will be rewarded one mark while there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The final round of the olympiad will be a surprise round, details, and information regarding which will be shared with the participants at the time of the test.

With the conduct of the NEO 2020, SRCC aims that students will be allowed to test their acuity and expand their knowledge of economics in terms of practical approach in the real world.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the National Economics Olympiad will be held online. In the NEO 2019, which was conducted last year, SRCC received around 3,700 registrations from across 100 cities and 500 schools across five nations.
