The alternative academic calendar for CBSE Class 9-12th is released by the Union  Education Minister. The alternative calendar suggests the themes with the utilization of technology. Also, the theme implies social media tools to provide education while the students are at home.

On Tuesday, Ramesh Pokhriyal revealed an eight-week substitutional academic calendar. Subsequently, NCERT developed it for classes the higher classes (9 to 12). Under the alternative calendar, the themes of technology and social media devices to furnish education will be provided.

The Education Minister told about the alternative academic calendar on his  Twitter handle. He wrote the ministry has created the Alternative Academic Calendar (AAC) for the subsequent 8 weeks for the secondary stage today. Alternative Academic Calendar for 12 weeks for primary and higher primary stages. And AAC has already secondary & higher secondary stages for 4 weeks.

According to the recent Unlock 4 guidelines, schools are going to unlock (partially) for pupils of classes 9 to 12 from September 21, 2020, onwards. The authority will give them the option to either come to school or study online. Also, the students will need parents’ permission for joining school.
