The faculty of Jamia Milia Islamia, JMI University Mr. Inadur Rahman invented nano modified cement-based material. He is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Covil Engineering at JMI University. The patent office of the Indian Government granted the patent to the invention. The title of the invention of JMI University Professor is “High Strength Cementitious Nanocomposite Compositions and the methods of making the same.
The main purpose of the invention is to bring together na nanotechnology and construction technology. It is done to generate cement material modified with nano. It is done to raise the mechanical performance and reduce weight. All the material resources will be fully utilized.
ADDITIVES OF CEMENT COMPOSITES
All the additives of nano are mixed in such a composition so that it makes high strength cementitious composites. Some of the nano components are nano cement, silica fume, nano-silica fume, fly ash, and nano fly ash.
JMI UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR STUDIED AND OBSERVE THE PARTICLES
The professor of JMI University studied everything with reference to the normal-sized cement matrix. It was observed that nano particles enhanced the properties of the cement matrix.

USE OF NANOPARTICLES BY JMI UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR
The addition of nanoparticles are useful in strategically important structures. These structures are a nuclear power plant, Airport Runways and Bridges, and many more. All these structures require high strength. All these nanomaterials will be beneficial to construct building specifically in the Government of India projects on ‘Smart Cities’.
OTHER PATENTEES WITH JMI UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR
Apart from JMI professor Dr. Ibadur Rahman, there are other two patentees in the project. The patentees are Professor Ameer Azam, Department of Applied Physics, and Mohammad Arif, Department of Civil Engineering, Z. H. College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
