In the first phase of campus placement, the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras made a marvelous record. The Institute recorded commendable offers for the students in the academic session 2021-22. This year, 1500 students applied for campus placement. Out of which, 73 percent of students received job offers from different companies.

The second phase of campus placement will begin in the second half of January. 226 companies reached the campus in the first phase/ So, they offered around 1,085 packages. Moreover, 14 companies made 45 international offers for the students. The first phase of campus placement at IIT Madras concluded on December 10.

On the other hand, the institute also welcomed 62 start-ups to provide placement offers for the students. Consequently, students received 186 placement offers from their side. Eleven students received international offers from Rakuten Mobile. The other international offers were Honda R&D, Cohesity, Accenture Japan, Media Tek, Money Forward, Uber, Glean, Micron Technologies, and many more.

On the other hand, Microsoft India Pvt Ltd, Bajaj Auto Ltd, American Express, and EXL Service are some of the top recruiters of IIT Madras. Students received placement offers from Core Engineering and Technology, Finance, Information Technology, i.e., IT, Data Science and Analytics and Software Development.
