IIT Gandhinagar will set up a live session to solve the admission and other pertinent academic queries. The live session will be conducted on October 4.
JEE Advanced qualified students and their parents can take part in this live session. Under which, they will receive guidance related to various engineering branches at IITs and career opportunities. Also, the experts will assist them to understand the IIT system in a better way.
The director of IIT Gandhinagar, Sudhir Jain will communicate with the students. According to the officials, students will also get to know about the latest innovations at IIT- Gn, undergraduate curriculum. This will include dual major, minors, dual degrees, and liberal policy of branch alternation.
Moreover, the session will discuss undergraduate research possibilities, Career Development Services, and other useful student-oriented initiatives.
Besides the above-mentioned points, the live session will share the information in relation to the pandemic and IIT. It will also communicate the major and minor changes with respect to IITs in the current scenario.

Giving a message to the aspiring IIT candidates, the director said, it is obvious to have questions when you have to take the most important decision of your life. Also, it is advisable to go through important facts before making the decision. That is why the open house is set up to clarify the doubts.
In spite of the pandemic, IIT Gandhinagar took various initiatives such as Project Isaac, a unique fellowship for graduating students, convenient online classes, persistent faculty guidance, and others for smooth education flow.
Professor Kabeer Jasuja, Dean of Academic Affairs, IIT-Gn said that students and parents have many doubts and queries at this stage. And many times, they are not well aware of the courses and programs in the IITs. Like every year, IIT-Gn will host an online session to get them a platform for deeper insights about the many opportunities inside the campus. Seeing the prevailing situation, IIT will hold a virtual session. Due to this, students sitting in distant places can also join it.
The goal is to give ample information about the IITs so that they can decide what suits them best.
