It has been announced by the national testing agency (NTA) that the entrance test for eight PG Diploma courses including language journalism courses dor 2020-21 in the Indian Institute Of Mass Communication (IIMC) will be conducted on 18 October.

The entrance exam will be proctored remotely in an online mode. The entrance exam can be attempted remotely by the candidates from their home or a place of their choice. Candidates need to have a laptop or a desktop computer with a good internet connection.

A fresh round of applications has been invited from the candidates who are interested and the last date for the submission of application is 23 September 2020.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

All those interested candidates who hold a graduation degree certificates or are appearing, awaiting the result of their graduation examinations will be eligible to appear for the entrance examination. In addition to this, their final selection will be subject to the production of the graduation mark sheet/ results as and when that is granted by their respective universities/ institutions. This has to be submitted latest by December 15, 2020.

The new academic session i.e. the batch of 2020-21 is scheduled to commence from the second week of November, tentatively though.

The classes for the first semester for all PG Diploma courses will be conducted in an online mode.
