PIB Fact check on Fake notice of DU reopening:

PIB declared the DU reopening notice as a false one today, i.e. 30th December 2021. Hence, they used Twitter as a means to reach people. Thus, the tweet by PIB states, “A fake notice attributes to DU claims that the varsity has decided to reopen colleges and offline classes for all PG/UG courses in a phased manner.” But, no such order has been issued by DU as clarified PIB.

DU also denies the fake notice:

The University of Delhi has also stated that the notice is a false one. Also, in a tweet, the University of Delhi clearly mentioned that no such notice is issued or will be issued in near future. This was stated by the University of Delhi instantly on 29th December 2021. The university has made it clear that any official notice related to exams, admissions, academics, and more will be available on the official website only. Hence, for any news or update, students need to head to the official website – du.ac.in.
