The role of covid-19 in the education budget 2022-23:
The covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent shut down of all educational institutions in India has been one of the core areas of discussion. Students from weaker sections of society almost missed two years of education due to the unavailability of facilities. Thus, most of these unprivileged students belonged from government schools. So, building a resilient mechanism for education delivery is important.
The education minister of India stated that with the Digital University, 200 TV channels for learning, and a digital ecosystem, the education sector can run smoothly. Thus, he appreciated the education budget 2022-23 saying it to be bold, growth-oriented, and pro-people.
