The teachers of Delhi University affiliated colleges are now facing the problem of non-payment of salary again. So, teachers are under mental stress because they are unable to pay rent for their home and cover their family expenses. Delhi University Teachers Association, DUTA had a word with the Dean of colleges and Registrar of the varsity discussing non-payment of salary. So, they said that they would have a word with the Delhi Government about the non-payment of salary.

Teachers have not got salary from last four months. So now, they would meet the chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and discuss releasing funds for payment of salaries to the teachers.

DUTA ASKED ABOUT TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCES
Balaram Pani is the dean of Delhi University and Vikas Gupta is the registrar. Delhi University teachers association asked about the extension of 28 colleges. Moreover, those colleges are fully funded by Delhi Government. They asked about the non-recovery of transport allowances.
DUTA WOULD DISCUSS ABOUT RELEASING OF FUNDS
On the other hand, the registrar of Delhi University said that they would soon release a notification regarding the extension of the colleges that are fully funded by the Delhi Government. However, he said that the Delhi University Teachers Association should now talk to Delhi Government regarding releasing of funds for payment of salaries.

So, Delhi University Teachers Association, DUTA would now talk to the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal. They will discuss about permanent allotment of positions for principals, librarians, and other academic posts.
