Delhi University will give Ph.D. admissions via CUET (PhD) conducted by the National Testing Agency in the forthcoming academic year. This is the first time the institution will admit students into the Ph.D. program. By using a common exam instead of performing written tests and interviews.
Delhi University (DU) started taking admissions into undergraduate programs through CUET-UG. It will be admitting students into postgraduate programs through CUET-PG. The admission examination is carried out by CUET (PhD)-2023, carried out by NTA.
Though, officials said that teaching and non-teaching categories serving in the institution can still present for interviews. Teaching, as well as non-teaching personnel, may be ratified to attend classes. They can take tests without compromising the obligations allocated during office hours. These regulations for Ph.D. admissions via CUET will be applied from the academic session 2023-2024.
