DU Seniors work hard to help freshmen amidst all problems:
DU Seniors travel every day from all the corners of the capital and gather for help. The volunteers organize the help desk in the North Campus each day. It is a tough job for them to coordinate all the activities and travel on a day to day basis. These students follow all the Covid-19 protocols. They come armored with masks, gloves, and sanitizers. Constant working in the pandemic is hectic and somewhat unsafe. Traveling also serves as a problem in the post lockdown period.
DU Seniors also have to attend their online classes daily. Hence, they are managing both the works through their hard work and dedication. They attend the class on one side and to the candidate’s problem on the other. Around 25-30 students are assisted on a day to day basis. Numerous online admission issues are resolved every day. These students efficiently manage their classes and assignments alongside.
Selfless help by DU Seniors:
Lovnish Prajapati, a student of Rajdhani College said, “There are times when we seniors have to excuse ourselves from work to mark the online attendance or do other college-related work.” However, these students never give up on their responsibilities of helping the aspiring DU students. Lovnish adds, “I feel happy in helping regardless of what I get in return.” Therefore, the kindness of DU seniors is highlighted over here.
These volunteers are well aware of the problems that arise in online procedures. Any small mistake could risk the admissions of a new candidate. Hence, they highlight the key points which might be missing so that the aspiring candidate gets admission to their favorite college.
Frontline workers who fight against the coronavirus daily and risk their lives are their inspirations. Doctors, policemen, relief givers, etc risk their lives to help all of us daily. Therefore, the DU Seniors are inspired by their hard work, courage, and dedication. Hence, this frontline initiative of the volunteers is highly appreciable.
Words of DUSU President:

However, in this Covid-19 time, the health of the students is prioritized and social distancing is followed.
