The process of application for admission to Post Graduate, MPhil/Ph.D., and Undergraduate courses in Delhi University (DU) is underway. Registration for PG and MPhil/Ph.D. courses have started from July 26. The last date for registration is 21st August. At the same time, the registration process for the UG course was started on 2nd August. The last date for registration for admission to UG courses is August 31, 2021.
Till now a total of 4,31,853 candidates have registered for admission. This information is given through the registration status on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in. A total of 270106 candidates have registered for the UG course till 7 pm on 17th August. Whereas, 141899 candidates have registered for the PG course.
At the same time, the total number of candidates who have registered for MPhil and Ph.D. courses is 19848. For these courses, interested and eligible candidates who have not yet registered should visit the official website and register soon. Candidates should not wait for the last date.

To register online, candidates need to visit the official website. A separate link to the Admission Portal for UG, PG, and MPhil/Ph.D. has been provided on the homepage of the website. By using the respective link, one can complete the DU registration and application form filling process.
The first cutoff list may be released by October 1
According to media reports, a senior official of Delhi University has told that the first cut-off list for admission in merit-based UG courses may be released by DU by October 1. Earlier, as per media reports, the first cut-off list was to be released by DU between September 7 and 10.
It is to be noted that there are two processes followed for UG/PG admission at Delhi University. Admission to some courses is taken based on merit, while in some courses an entrance test is conducted for enrollment. DUET 2021 for entrance-based enrollment is scheduled to be conducted from September 26 to October 1, 2021.
