DU First Allotment list 2022: Over 60,000 candidates accepted

DU First Allotment List: The University of Delhi released the first merit list on 19 October 2022, Wednesday. By this time, more than 60,000 students have accepted the courses and colleges offered by varsity. Further, candidates have time till 21 October to accept the allotted seats.

It is expected that all the Undergraduate course or programs seats will be filled in this list itself. After all, Delhi University has a total of 70,000 seats in UG courses and over half of the seats are in process of being filled already. 

According to the statement of DU Registrar Vikas Gupta, “We are expecting all UG seats that are 70,000 will be filled via the first allotment process. Therefore the DU Admission 2022 process may be concluded by 24 October.”

DU First allotment List: 80,000 Seats Allocated

Delhi University has allocated a total of 80,164 seats to various aspirants. Also, it has given me 3 days to accept it. Fortunately, around 61,000 aspirants have accepted their seats through DU first allotment list within just one day. Consequently, the beginning of the allotment may become the last in the admission process. 

The college will verify all the documents of candidates by 22 October. Thereafter, the candidates will get time till 24 October to make the fee payment. Besides, this year 1.5 lakh candidates have applied for the Delhi University UG programs. Though the seats are fewer as compared to applicants.
