Jharkhand’s Godda Lok Sabha seat BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has not been a student of Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies. Prof, Sunita Singh Sen Gupta, Dean (FMS) said that an RTI was filed by the Jharkhand Police in the year 2016 regarding the details of his degree.
At that time, this matter had come in front of then Dean (FMS) ML Singla. The answer to the RTI was filed on January 5, 2016. A copy of the reply is available with the Jharkhand police. She said that she was asked once again by the Jharkhand Police to issue another letter, which she did.
This letter was issued to the Crime Investigation Branch of the Jharkhand Police on July 28, 2020. It is written in the letter that according to the reply filed on January 5, 2016, and the information available with the FMS, in the year 1993, there was no admission or pass-out in the name of Nishikant Dubey.
The prestigious FMS department of DU is known for its reputed MBA curriculum. The students who pass out from here are offered packages in lakhs from various multinational companies. During the placement program of FMS in 2020, a student secured the maximum package of 58.8 lakhs. 100 students of MBA in FMS have received an annual package of 31 lakhs.
In the letter issued by the University, it is explicitly mentioned that the MBA degree of Nishikant Dubey is fake. However, the BJP politicians are calling this letter fake. Currently, the politics in Jharkhand in this letter is hot.
