DU Centenary Celebration: On the occasion of the closing ceremony of Delhi University’s centenary celebrations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to join the event as a Chief Guest.

This event will be held on the 30 June. The centenary year of the University starts on 1 May 2022 and this year, several events were organised by the university. 

The centenary celebration began on 1 May on the day of the University’s foundation day. University wants to make this closing ceremony a symbol of the conclusion of the DU centenary celebration.

DU was established in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly and it is also known as the name of University of Delhi. This is recognized as an Institute of Eminence by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Some Officials said that “Prime Minister Narender Modi is going to join the closing ceremony of the centenary celebration of Delhi University (DU). Moreover, he will attend that event as a Chief Guest on 30 June 2023. According to officials, he accepted the invitation card from Delhi University for attending the ceremony.”

Furthermore, Delhi University (DU) is a central university in Delhi and arranges several experiences but this event is going to be historic when the prime minister himself will be involved. The Closing Ceremony of DU’s centenary celebration will come to life momentously.
