Nikhil Chauhan, a 19-year-old student stabbed to death outside the Aryabhatta College on Sunday. The student was pursuing BA in Political Science honours from Delhi University’s School of Open Learning and had come to attend classes on 18 June.

A week ago, Nikhil had an argument with another student as the accused misbehaved with his girlfriend. Therefore, the accused student came with three others and stabbed Nikhil. 

At Charak Palika Hospital in Moti Bagh, Nikhil was declared dead. Such a trivial issue has taken Nikhil’s life who was a resident of Paschim Vihar. Further, the case has been registered and police have identified the murderer.

CCTV cameras will be checked by police and the suspects will be arrested. Moreover, Nikhil Chauhan’s body was taken into police custody and handed over to his family after an autopsy.  

Delhi University Prays for Nikhil Chauhan & his Family 

Delhi University shared a few words on the loss of Nikhil and said it is an unfortunate incident. Also, it said that college is the place where students come to learn and study but a young life’s lost the outside of gate. Further, varsity expressed grief and said “God bless his soul and give power to his family to bear this pain.”

Besides, 2 more murder case was registered in South West Delhi on Sunday. Before the Nikhil incident, two sisters were shot dead in the RK Puram area of Delhi. The police arrested the murderer and also stated that the attack was done due to some money-related issue.
