Delhi University(DU) admission 2021 has ended against the third cutoff list for the undergraduate courses. This year university cutoff was in the spotlight as they were extremely high. Moreover, DU admission 2021 is a much hard way for students. This year it was already expected that most of the seats will be filled in the first few cutoff lists. Till the third cutoff list, around 58000 students have reserved their seats in the University. University has a total of around 70,000 undergraduate seats.
However, DU is yet to release subsequent merit lists. University will release at least five merit lists this year if seats remain vacant as mentioned in the schedule. Students after the third merit list have a little less chance to get admission.

SPECIAL CUTOFF
DU will now release the special cutoff list for admission on 25th October. University special cutoff is subjected to the availability of seats in the colleges. Students who could not take admission in the previous three merit lists can make it into DU in the special cutoff. Admission against the special cutoff will start on 26th October and will last on 27th October. One of the officials said that the special cutoff is most likely to close for general categories students for most of the courses. However, in reserved categories, students will have a good chance to get admission.
MORE THAN 58,000 STUDENTS HAVE SECURED ADMISSION IN DU SO FAR
After the special cutoff list, University will also release the fourth and fifth merit lists if seats remain vacant. Then, at last, a special drive will be out against the vacant seats for the reserved categories.
