University officials held a press meet today and outlined a brief procedure of Admission this year. Officials ensured that students will have Hassle free environment. They said the first cutoff list to be released on June 24th. Since admission to St Stephen’s and Jesus and Merry College are done separately and forms will be applied separately, their dates will be announced soon.
Process of admission to 54000 seats in undergraduate courses will begin on May 22 (5:00 PM) . The last date for online application is expected to be June 12 for Undergraduate Courses. It is also expected that university may announce a change in the process of admission to 61 colleges.
Last year the university had received over 3.7 lakhs applications. English Honors was the most sought after course last year with applications of about 1.5 lakhs.
Admission Timing: For Morning College: 10 AM to 1PM
Evening College: 4 PM to 7 PM
1st Cutoff, 24 June, 5:00 PM
2nd Cutoff, 1st July
3rd Cutoff, 7th July
4th Cutoff, 13th July
5th Cutoff, 18th July
The further cutoff list may be declared depending on the vacant seats in the colleges. After approval of admission, the applicant has to log on to the undergraduate admission portal to make online admission fee payment. This may be done till 12:00 Noon of the next day of the given admission list deadline.
