DU 99th Convocation: Delhi University will conduct the 99th convocation on 25 February 2023. According to the officials, this is another way to promote Indian culture. So, students are asked to wear ‘Angvastras’ with Indian attire. This convocation will be different as no old colonial gowns will be worn by any students, officials, or guests.

Further, the outfit for officials and guests will be made of khadi silk. As per senior officials, the university wishes to adopt an Indian culture-inspired dress code in its 99th convocation. Therefore, this year the change in attire will be noticed.

No student will wear a graduation cap or gown during the convocation. The Delhi University Vice Chancellor said, “The graduation robe or gown had been there for a long time.
