Weekly webinars will be conducted by the Central Placement Cell of Delhi University. This series of weekly webinars for students will start on 4th May, 5 to 6 pm.

The Central Placement Cell of the University of Delhi has planned a series of weekly webinars for UG and PG students. This seminar will cover-up various topics that ought to help students in their professional lives.   However, the Central Placement Cell Of DU has also decided about conducting seminars on the COVID-19 and the challenges that can be faced in the future due to this pandemic.

The students have to register online first to attend these webinars. They can find a link to the webinar on the official website of Delhi University http://www.du.ac.in/du/. This weekly webinar will start on 4th May. There will five webinars which are totally free of cost. Students after online registration can join this webinar on Monday from 5 to 6 pm.

The five webinars will be given by experts from various fields. These webinars will help students in improving their resumes and giving better interviews.

The list of the webinars is as follow:

4th May 2020 Gen Z and Jobs of the Future
11th May 2020 Business Ethics
18th May 2020 Introduction of Data Analytics
25th May 2020 Case Studies
1st June 2020 Resume and Interview tips and tricks

 

The webinars will also be attended by the Vice-Chancellor (VC) Yogesh Tyagi with eleven other people. However, Shakuntala D Gamlin, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Person with Disabilities will most likely to address the students on COVID-19.

Tejasvi, a student of Lady Shri Ram College said, “These weekly webinars will prove to be helpful for students looking to improve their resumes and to gain knowledge about business ethics and data analytics”.

A notice has been issued by the Delhi University. The Academic Calendar has been modified by extending the date of the reopening of colleges from 28th April 2020 to 15th April 2020. The examinations are also postponed by the Delhi University, a new date will be announced soon by DU. Students have to wait till further notice.

The Admission process is also on hold due to lockdown. However, Delhi University thinking to make the entire admission process online. The last date to submit applications for foreign students for UG admission is 12th June. The date for submitting an application for Indian citizens is yet pending.
