DU UG Admission 2021

The online application process for admission to Delhi University can start in May. Recently, there was a meeting of officials connected to the admission of the University of Delhi, in which there was a discussion about the admission. They are assuming that the application process can begin from May, says an admissions officer.

Dean of DU, Students Welfare Prof. Rajiv Gupta says that due to the new education policy there will be a change in the admission process and all central universities will enroll under an admission process. For this, the Central Government will publish the issued guidelines. We are anticipating that direction. Not only this, students who have taken admission in DU online this time, feedback will also be taken from teachers, and parents. So that we can make our admission process adequate and students friendly.

It is to be known that the application process was different in different central universities of the country. But this time there is a plan to conduct everyone’s entrance examination by the National Testing Agency (NTA) simultaneously. DU will join Central University Common Entrance Test, admission standard will be different.

Admission in most subjects at Delhi University will now be based on the entrance examination. These admissions will be done with the help of the Central University Common Entrance Test. For this, a detailed outline has been given by DU. A senior DU official notified that there will be positive changes in the admission process. These undertakings are made so that students may not face any trouble.

DU admission will be as the new education policy. This will be the basis of merit of both admissions for 12th marks and entrance examination marks. DU proposes that 50 percent of the students will be given a rise to merit based on the marks of the board. It is suggested to calculate the points of the board according to percentile because having different boards does not make them symmetrical.

Pro. Joshi says that we are considering in this direction that the student should get admission based on the ranking which will be taken by combining the marks of class 12th and marks obtained in the entrance exam. It is to be known that earlier in DU, only a few subjects of graduates used to enroll based on the entrance examination.

The entrance test is one, but how will the university decide how to get admission: A senior professor said that due to Central University Common Entrance Test, the student will not have to take the distinct entrance examination for admission to several universities.

DU admission will be joining with the new education policy. This will be the basis of eligibility for both admissions for 12th marks and entrance exam marks. DU suggests that 50 percent of students will be made merit based on the board marks and the rest by adding Central University Common Entrance Test marks. It is suggested to calculate the board marks by percentage as having different boards does not make them symmetrical.
