CBSE CTET

The syllabus for classes 9 to 12 in the new academic session has been released by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Notably, there are no changes in the syllabus i.e. no reduction in the syllabus has been made by the CBSE board. The new academic session will commence in April.

In the last academic year, owing to the unprecedented pandemic condition, the CBSE board had reduced 30 percent of the total Syllabus. A slight reduction in syllabus was expected by the students this year too. Students and Teachers have now been notified and they should know that the last year’s syllabus will not be applicable in this new academic year. The full syllabus needs to be studied and taught as well.

The exam dates for classes 12 and 10 have recently been revised by the CBSE Board. There have been certain changes in the schedule of few exams. For the class 12 physics paper and applied physics, the dates have been shifted from 13 May 2021 to 1 June 2021. In the same way, for class 10, now the mathematics paper will be held on 2 June 2021 which was earlier scheduled for 21 May 2021.
