In the past few days, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been receiving pressure from various students and parents to postpone the board practical examinations this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 circumstance across the nation.

Many rumors are also being circulated on social media considering the postponement of the CBSE board practical examinations 2021. An official from CBSE while addressing these rumors confirmed that no statement regarding the postponement of the practical examinations has been made by the board.

According to the media reports, a representative from CBSE has mentioned that no news has been released regarding the postponement of practical examinations and one should only trust statements coming from official sources during these uncertain times.

CBSE TO NOT ISSUE HARD COPY OF MIGRATION CERTIFICATE FROM THIS YEAR

Though several students are requesting the postponement of the practical examinations, many schools across the country have already organized the board practical examinations 2021 for students of classes 10 and 12 with numerous COVID-19 safety protocols.

In the light of the Coronavirus pandemic, CBSE has allowed students of classes 10 and 12 to change their exam centers for both practical and theory examinations through its official website.

However, the notification read that this has come to the notice of the board that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, students of Classes 10 and 12, along with their families, have shifted to some other cities, and therefore, they are incapable to appear in the practical/theory examination from the school/ exam center where the students are enrolled for the board exams.

It further added that the board has planned to permit the change in the exam center. The requirement to change the examination center for the CBSE board examinations 2021 was only accessible on the official website for a limited time.

Recently, CBSE had also announced various changes in the board exam date sheet. According to the revised dates of the CBSE board exams 2021, the Physics and Applied Physics exam will now be conducted on June 8, 2021, for Class 12 students. Moreover, for any news and updates regarding the exams students are requested to visit the official website of the board, cbse.nic.in.
