Application Dates for DU Journalism is Out: Entrance on September 17

Delhi University’s School of Journalism will take in its first set of students this year, with the application process to the five-year course beginning from August 23. Students can apply from 23 August to 3 September, the application form is in Online mode and can be filled at the online portal of DU.

The registration fee is Rs 500 for general and OBC candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST.Students who secure 50% in Class XII (irrespective of the stream) will be eligible to apply for the entrance exam. The test will examine the candidate’s general knowledge, current affairs, and analytical and comprehension skills.

The selection is solely based on the entrance exam. On the basis of the score, merit list will be prepared.Sixty candidates each will be admitted to both programmes (English and Hindi).

Important Dates –

• Starting Date of Application – 23 August, 2017

• Last Date for Applications – 3 September, 2017

• Date of Entrance Exam – 17 September, 2017

 Being an integrated course— three years of bachelors and two years of master’s — students have the option to exit after three years. If there are vacant seats after three years, new students will be allowed to apply to the post graduation course after an entrance test.
