AISA, All India Students Association stated a petition against some of the cases of Delhi University. It said that Delhi University must not hold DU exams. Moreover, they must also revamp the academic calendar and suspend online classes.

Delhi University has suspended the classes of students of all years and courses till 16th May. The varsity released a notification which reads that due to the sudden increase in COVID-19 cases, Delhi University has decided to suspend classes till 16th May.

DU EXAMS TO BEGIN FROM JUNE 1

Delhi University is going to conduct DU exams from 1st June. Earlier the varsity was going to conduct exams from 15th May. Now, students can fill the examination form by 12th May.

The petition filed by the All India Students Association reads that coronavirus is at the worst stage destroying families and friends. At this time, Delhi University’s decision to conduct a DU exam is nothing but an act of insanity. To cease the conduction on exams the students’ community must stand with each other.

Moreover, Delhi University launched a help desk for the students, elders, and youngsters. Through this help desk, they will spread awareness about the emergency services. Such services include testing centers, ambulance services, bed availability, and many more.

NSS VOLUNTEERS INITIATIVE

In the official statement, Delhi University said that DU NSS volunteers have taken this initiative to be a middleman between service provides and the DU fraternity. They have created platforms to spread available and are also using social media sites.

Delhi University will soon take some decision or the other for exams.
