AICTE, UGC begin registration for crossword contest

The University Grants Commission (UGC) and The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) are organizing a national-level crossword event for aspirants of higher education. The competition will be conducted between March and August in the new year. This year the National Inter College Crossword Contest 2022 (NICE-22) will be conducted in a Hybrid that is both in offline and online mode.

This competition is being overseen to enhance the skills of the candidates in a fun and interesting way. The purpose of crosswords is to enhance logical reasoning, encourage a problem-solving approach, establish a sense of quick decision making among other such cognitive skills in students. This activity will also help in bringing about an environment of holistic growth among the students.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR CROSSWORD CONTEST

Step 1: First go to the official website at nice.crypticsingh.com

Step 2: On the homepage click on the link for ‘register now’.

Step 3: Fill in all the important personal details and college or university ID cards.

UGC PLANS TO CHANGE THE CREDIT SYSTEM, MULTIPLE EXITS, AND MUCH MORE

Step 4: Students are advised to check all details appropriately and click on submit.

Step 5: Aspirants can also save the page for future use.

It is noteworthy that once the registration is completed, your NICE-22 username and password will seem on your screen after successful registration and will be mailed to you via email.
