The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, and Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab join hands to set up a digital forensics laboratory as a part of the Advanced Center for Research in Forensic Justice.

Further, for this, an agreement had signed between NFSU Professor JM Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, and RGNUL Vice-Chancellor, Professor GS Bajpai. In this regard, Professor GS Bajpai stated that for the first time at National Law University, a Digital Forensic Laboratory is set up on the premises of RGNUL. Additionally, NFSU will not only provide funds for establishment. But also, a knowledge partner for offering the Standard Operating Procedures for organizing academic and research activities.

As per the RGNUL statement, the Advances Center for Research in Forensic Justice, a collaboration of NFSU and RGNUL is in dedication to developing forensic science.

The joint investment of NFSU and RGNUL will boost the relationship between forensic discovery and blended (online and offline) endeavors of providing certificates and diploma programs. The program relates to the fields of law, criminology, and forensic science with behavioral science.

Moreover, Professor GS Bajpai talked about bilateral cooperation between universities. Also, he stressed the application of forensics in the field of law and discussed emerging issues in forensics. In addition, he said, “Law enforcement agencies should enhance the ability to build dealing with digital forensic elements.”
