If Abhishek Bachchan had not been under pressure to become a star, he would have by now established himself as a great actor. When Bachchan was added to the name, everyone saw him as a superstar and not as an artist.
Films such as Yuva, Dhoom, Guru, Sarkar, Bunty Aur Babli, and Manmarziyan draw a graph of his acting in which he is seen propelling himself as an actor. There came many flop films in between these blockbusters, however, in his second innings, Abhishek began to come up like a better actor. The Big Bull is another hallmark of this.
The film ‘The Big Bull’ is not a spice film rather it is a straight-line film, which has been adopted by its director Kuki Gulati in today’s time to depict the tale through a journalist. For Kuki, this is the turning point of his career as he had made this film with a lot of effort. As per the reviews and ratings, the film could have been much better if a little more work was done on the screenplay.

Do not let the stock of your expectations rise too high – The Big Bull
The Big Bull confides the story of the stock market through a fictional character named Hemant Shah. The period of the film is the same as that of the web series ‘Scam 1992’. The formula of both stories is similar. However, Hemant Shah seems more close to life. When her girlfriend’s father tells her on the terrace, ‘But, a broker is just a broker!’ Every disdain for Hemant is a new invention, that jugaad of life through which he has to make goods from the shares of companies.

When Hemant Shah says in the beginning that ‘I have invested thoughtfully’ and ‘there is a difference between tukka and bets’, it seems that a common man’s longing to be the owner is being said to him.
However, Hemant Shah gradually lets his intention be revealed. His brother appears as a catalyst in his world and his work is not able to move ahead of him in full action response.

When Amitabh Bachchan worked in the film ‘Deewar’, it was said that this film was made to improve the image of Haji Mastan. Whether ‘The Big Bull’ and ‘Scam 1992’ also make similar efforts, it is going to be discussed for many years to come. But the thing to note here is that Abhishek Bachchan has done a commendable job here with a director whose career is not even tithe of Hansal Mehta. In the film, he has carried away on his shoulders. No other artist helps him to make this character bigger. Abhishek’s confidence is his new aura. His opulence is going to grow from this film.
