The alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur are furnishing financial assistance from seven seas across the world for the development of the association. With the help of alumni, a building competent with modern facilities for students is being established on the IIT campus.

Apart from this some laptops, and computers have also been allotted to first-year learners on behalf of the alumni. The support provided by the alumni to IIT Kanpur is incredibly appreciated.

Plans running with the help of alumni: IIT Kanpur plays a leading role in education research and technical studies. Students studying here are an emphasis on foreign companies.

The students also do not lag in supporting the economic strength and fame progressed from IIT Kanpur. Last year, alumni helped with about ₹ 30 crores. At the same time, last year so far, they have assisted Rs 22 crore. State-of-the-art buildings like Banyan Plaza, Outreach Building, etc. have been established on behalf of the alumni.

As per the information obtained from the institute, plans are going on in many other areas. Dean of Resource and Alumni Professor Jayant Singh said that the formation of the Japanese Garden on the campus is in progress in collaboration with alumni. He acclaimed the work being accomplished by the alumni.
