DU OBE

The Delhi University DU final year students complain over not getting results for their OBE exams. They say that the exam portal isn’t showing their results. However, the batchmates and the classmates were successful in accessing the OBE exam results.

Many DU final year students reported to the university on this discrepancy. A student pursuing B. Com (Hons) from Kirori Mal College said that his record is not available on the website. His result is not displayed on the website of the university. The website showed the error of record not shown.

The student expressed confusion as to the teacher he was talking to, referred him to another one. He said that the result is still not reflected on the website portal. He seems directionless on the issue.

Another DU final year student who faced the same situation is from the College of Vocational Studies. Abhishek Arora is a student of Economics in the College of Vocational Studies. He said that the results were released a day before the last day. The batchmates and classmates of Abhishek have got their result but his result is not available on the website. He added that he put forward the matter before the Nodal Officer

He has sent his answer sheets via email. Added he attached a screenshot from DU which said that the answer sheet of the concerned was submitted. However, there has been no update so far.

FAULTY DU OBE RESULTS, MARKED ZERO, ABSENT; CLAIM STUDENTS

Another discrepancy is that many students got a zero in their result or marked absent. The anonymous teacher said that if the results are released, students can challenge them if they find it incorrect. But this is the case of no result declaration. It has left the students in utter confusion as to what to do next. The results are not reflected on the website. Here, even re-evaluation doesn’t come into the picture.

Many cases of difficulty are accessing the results were reported by the students of Hansraj college to the Nodal Officer. She said that the university issued that a notification stating that the students need to email the university. She mentioned that the college is following this guideline.

The college authorities were told to forward the mails of students to a specific email id. But due to a huge number of emails being sent, they are bouncing back. Considering the issue, Delhi University has given a new email to the college to forward the DU final year students’ issues.

On this, the DU officials mentioned these disparities are not related to OBE. It said that these are some minor issues. They said that issues like these were faced by students in the previous year too.

The results are taking time because of some reasons like there may be some issues with their roll number, or the files uploaded are not accessible, the paper number is missing, and many more. Sanjeev Singh, Head of Delhi University Computer center said that the students facing the issue are instructed to reach out through the email provided.
