Clearing the doubts, Delhi University has now come up with a notice stating the option of OBE mode (Open Book examination) available for the upcoming exams.

Delhi University issued a notice regarding the mode of conduction of the examinations. Students will have the option to choose between the Open Book Examination (OBE) mode or the physical mode. DU will conduct exams the same way, as done for final semester students in August.

On Tuesday, the dean of examination,  Delhi University released a notice, giving details about the commencement and mode of odd semester exams.

The examination for the odd semester ( 3rd, 5th, and 7th) of all undergraduate, postgraduate including NCWEB and SOL will begin from 12th December 2020. A detailed date sheet for the same will be out by the first week of November. Also, the repeaters of previous semesters and the ex-students will be liable to appear in the December exams. 

The notice reads, “In the view of the prevailing situation, the University will conduct OBE in a blended mode that is, online/offline for third, fifth and seventh-semester students along with the essential repeaters of first, third and fifth semester along with the ex-students of all UG and PG courses”.

All examinations will be conducted in two sessions in a day including Sunday in the time interval of three hours. Additionally, it states that for offline mode, students will have the convenience to choose the college of their preference, as chosen in the exam form.

Further, Dean informs that all Undergraduate students will receive a date sheet which will be uploaded on the official website of Delhi University. For PG students, their respective department and faculty will inform about the exam updates.
