Sunday morning at 7:30 AM Delhi University conducted its second-most test for the final year students. The students from the day one itself have been facing a number of problems while appearing for the mock tests. The Delhi University has also provided the DU helpline number of University professors on its website to deal with the grievances related to the mock tests and OBE. Although when a student called the DU helpline number, the administrator in charge slammed him and yelled for calling at 8 AM in the morning. It is to be noted that Delhi University kept its second mock test at 7:30 in the morning.

Delhi University’s open book exams are going to start from 10th July 2020 and in the meanwhile, the University is conducting mock tests for the final year students. The mock tests being conducted by the students have been turned out as a big failure for the University. The students have reported a number of problems in the first two mock tests itself.

A student at Delhi University called one of the DU professors through DU helpline number to clear his doubts in the hope to receive a solution to his problems and if nothing he expected moral support. A voice call recording is being circulated in the WhatsApp groups of various Delhi University colleges. The audio reveals the discriminatory yet terrible responses students of Delhi University are receiving when they are trying to reach the helpline number provided by Delhi University.

The audio recording is said to be of a student at the College of Vocational Studies of Delhi University. As per the viral audio and messages, the conversation is said to be held between the DU professor Girish Kumar and the final year student of the Delhi University. The students who called the professor at 8 AM in the morning in the hope to get relief and help during the ongoing mock tests were slammed unanswered by the professor. As per the recording, in spite of the student’s politeness, the DU professor Girish Kumar shrieked him out while saying that this isn’t the appropriate time to deal with the queries.

The DU professor Girish Kumar continuously yelled at the student for calling him at 8 AM on Sunday morning while the Delhi University held the mock test for students at 7:30 AM early in the morning. The professor indeed did not listen to the student’s question and hanged the phone after yelling for around one and a half minutes. The DU professor instantly denied listening to the query and railed against the student with a reprimand.

The authenticity of the audio is hard to find however the recording has gained the support of a number of final year’s DU students. The students are coming up with their issues and claimed that the DU professors are not assisting them during the process.
